13 Drive-Ins Remain Open Amid The Coronavirus Pandemic

In this day and age of social distancing, will Drive-ins make a comeback? I hope so. And speaking of which, Deadline reports that 13 Drive-In theaters in the US remained opened this weekend.

The locations standing tall in the COVID-19 climate included:

  • Van Buren Drive-in in Riverside, CA
  • Mission Tiki in Monclair, CA
  • Galaxy Drive-in in Ennis, TX
  • Glendale 9 in Glendale, AZ
  • Sacramento 6 Drive-In
  • Starlite Drive-in in Cadet, MO
  • South Bay Drive-In San Diego
  • Auto Drive-in the Greenville, NC area
  • Hi-Way 21 in Beaufort, SC
  • Jesup Drive-In, GA
  • Ocala Drive-In, FL
  • King Drive-In, AL
  • Lake Worth, FL

The three movies playing included Blumhouse’s The Invisible Man at seven drive-ins (grossing $36,6K), The Hunt at eight drive-ins ($36K), and Disney’s Onward at ten drive-ins ($22,7K).
