Powerbomb, a feature film about the horrifying combination of professional wrestling and an obsessed fan, is coming to DVD and VOD on April 14th, 2020 from Indican Pictures. The film is directed by BJ Colangelo & Zach Shildwachter and stars Matt Cross, Wes Allen, Britt Baker, Aaron “okPants” Sechrist, Roni Jonah, Cash Allen, Gregory Iron, and John Taddeo. Synopsis:
Powerbomb is the story of an independent wrestler on the verge of breaking into the big time, but he’s contemplating leaving it all behind to spend more time with his family. When our wrestler’s biggest fan hears the news, he decides to take matters into his own hands to ensure that his champion gets to the top by any means necessary. Starring professional wrestlers Matt Cross (Lucha Underground, WWE Tough Enough, American Ninja Warrior) Dr. Britt Baker (Shimmer, All Elite Wrestling) Gregory Iron (the world’s only professional wrestler with cerebral palsy), John Taddeo (Impact TV’s Supercop Dick Justice), midwest underground film favorites Wes Allen (The Legend of Holcomb Road, Deathbone, Halloween Spookies), Roni Jonah (Girl/Girl Scene, The Hornet’s Disciple and the Scars She Left, Dagger Kiss) Cash Allen (Halloween Spookies, The Legend of Holcomb Road, A Summer to Remember) and introducing world-renown artist, Aaron “okPants” Sechrist, Powerbomb is the feature debut of Sickening Pictures’ BJ Colangelo and Zach Shildwachter.
