A QUIET PLACE PART II Delayed Indefinitely

Writer-director John Krasinski’s A Quiet Place Part II with Emily Blunt & Cillian Murphy was supposed to hit theaters next weekend. But now the movie’s release has been delayed indefinitely due to the Coronavirus.

Paramount also issued a statement: “After much consideration, and in light of the ongoing and developing situation concerning coronavirus and restrictions on global travel and public gatherings, Paramount Pictures will be moving the worldwide release of A Quiet Place Part II. We believe in and support the theatrical experience, and we look forward to bringing this film to audiences this year once we have a better understanding of the impact of this pandemic on the global theatrical marketplace.”

We’ll keep you updated.

Here’s the sequel’s synopsis: Following the deadly events at home, the Abbott family (Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmonds, Noah Jupe) must now face the terrors of the outside world as they continue their fight survival in silence. Forced to venture into the unknown, they quickly realize that the creatures that hunt by sound are not the only threats that lurk beyond the sand path.

Written and directed by John Krasinski based on characters created by Bryan Woods & Scott Beck it is produced by Michael Bay, Andrew Form, Brad Fuller, and Krasinski. Allyson Seeger, Joann Perritano, and Aaron Janus serve as executive producers.

It stars Emily Blunt as Evelyn Abbott, Millicent Simmonds as Regan Abbott, Noah Jupe as Marcus Abbott, Cillian Murphy as Emmett, and John Krasinski as Lee Abbott. We have no idea who Djimon Hounsou plays, but we will pass along word if we hear anything.
