Sony unleashes David Wilson’s Bloodshot with Vin Diesel into theaters this May. And today Diesel teases that it will launch Valiant comics cinematic universe.
Diesel tells Superhero: “I think if you’re a fan of Valiant Comics, then you are going to be delighted to hear – and I think they’re going to wait until the movie comes out – but they’re going to start putting out into the press all of the Valiant comic books that are going into the cinematic universe. It’s going to be very exciting. The character and the world that he exists in is so compelling to me that I felt challenged and honored to launch the Valiant Cinematic Universe.“

Rated PG-13 for intense sequences of violence, some suggestive material, and language, Bloodshot begins when a marine Ray Garrison and his wife are murdered. A team of scientists then resurrects Garrison. Enhanced with nanotechnology, he becomes a superhuman, biotech killing machine – Bloodshot. As Ray first trains with fellow super-soldiers, he cannot recall anything from his former life. But his memories flood back and he remembers the man that killed both him and his wife. He then breaks out of the facility to get revenge, only to discover that there’s more to the conspiracy than he thought.
Vin Diesel stars as Raymond Garrison / Bloodshot with Sam Heughan as Jimmy Dalton, Toby Kebbell as Axe, Guy Pearce as Dr. Emil Harting, Lamorne Morris as Wilfred Wigans, Talulah Riley as Gina DeCarlo, Alex Hernandez as Tibbs, and Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson as Nick Baris.
