FANGORIA’s CASUALTY FRIDAY Midseason Recap

Casualty Friday  is one of our favorite new podcasts from The FANGORIA Podcast Network. These weekly chats feature in-depth conversations about life in the horror business from three icons; Felissa Rose, Kane Hodder, and Tiffany Shepis. Season Two has slashed open with some killer guests and we are beyond excited to dig in to some of the gory details of the first four episodes!

Episode 1: The Minor League, kicks off with an interview with Danielle Harris (Halloween 4 and 5, Rob Zombie’s Halloween and Halloween 2) joins the gang to discuss growing up as a child actor (and whether she wants her kids to go into the business), along with learning how to navigate her limits with working in horror (a genre known for pushing boundaries), and lots more!

Episode 2: Dead Movies, explores all of the movies that, to the dismay of Felissa, Kane, and Tiffany, never made it to the screen or into production. They cover the crazy story behind Vampirates! Kane talks about his scene in Seinfeld that never made it to TV, Felissa shares her stories from the set of Ghostbusters and Fatal Attraction, and Tiffany reveals her starring role in a Sri Lankan blockbuster that fell apart. The gang also goes on to chat about the more technical side of acting that fans don’t usually consider and gives listeners lots more to chew on the topic of performing in the horror genre.

Episode 3: The Beyond, the trio welcome’s Bill Mosely, who shares some pretty insane memories too. For example, mutilated cows were apparently crucial to his induction to The Screen Actors Guild. Yes, mutilated freaking cows! The gang also wrestles with big moral questions regarding… human flesh sushi… So yeah, this is a pretty gnarly one!

Episode 4: Adventures in Horrorland – Felissa, Kane, and Tiffany dive into a very important detail of filmmaking – location, location, location! Kane talks about his rather uncomfortable travels to South Africa, Felissa talks about her adventures in New Jersey, while Tiffany talks about choosing unique accommodations over a typical hotel. The gang then chats about dream locations including prisons, haunted homes, and more!
