Check it out up top!
Rated R for strong graphic violence, grisly images, drug use, and language it centers on Vietnam War veteran John Rambo who tries to find some semblance of peace by raising horses on a ranch in Arizona. He’s also developed a special familial bond with a woman named Maria and her teenage granddaughter Gabriela. But when a vicious Mexican cartel kidnaps Gabriela, Rambo crosses the border on a bloody and personal quest to rescue her and punish those responsible.
Rambo: Last Blood was directed by Adrian Grunberg from a screenplay written by Matthew Cirulnick and Stallone from a story by Dan Gordon and Stallone based on John Rambo by David Morrell. Avi Lerner produced with Kevin King Templeton, Yariv Lerner, and Les Weldon. Stallone’s costars include Paz Vega, Sergio Peris-Mencheta, Adriana Barraza, Yvette Monreal, Genie Kim, Joaquín Cosío, and Oscar Jaenada. Lionsgate unleashed it back on September 20, 2019.
The film only managed to snag a 27% approval rating over on Rotten Tomatoes with a Critics Consensus that reads: Like the sequels that preceded it, Rambo: Last Blood is content to indulge in bloody violence at the expense of its main character’s once-poignant story.
