Fan Fixes “Ugly Rotten Tomatoes Logo” on PARASITE Blu-Ray–And It’s Perfect!

For collectors of physical media, specifically Blu-rays and DVDs, the Rotten Tomatoes’ “Certified Fresh” logo is the worst thing to happen to cover art–ever. Seriously, who likes that goofy logo, looking like something you’d see in the produce section of your local supermarket? For horror movies or films with dark undertones, the RT logo creates an unnecessary clash. Not to mention the fact that a film’s RT rating is a piss-poor and elitist way of deciding which films to consume. I hate it. I just fucking hate it!

Which is why I’ve got to tip my hat to Destroy the Brain! journalist Joshua Lightfoot who “fixed the ugly Rotten Tomatoes logo on the Parasite Blu-ray cover” in the most perfect way possible. Have a look-see!

Parasite (written and directed by Bong Joon Ho) is one of the best-reviewed films of 2019 and a true contender for a Best Picture Oscar. If you’ve yet to see it for yourself, check out the trailer embedded at the top of the article and read the synopsis below.

Synopsis:
All unemployed, Ki-taek and his family take peculiar interest in the wealthy and glamorous Parks, as they ingratiate themselves into their lives and get entangled in an unexpected incident.
