Taboo Of Black Eyed Peas Working On New WEREWOLF BY NIGHT Comic For Marvel

Although details are scarce at the moment, we learned from Newsarama that a new Werewolf by Night comic was announced on the This Week in Marvel podcast.

Although very few specific details were given, we do know that Taboo, who you may know as a singer from Black Eyed Peas, will script the series alongside Ben Jackendoff. The two previously collaborated on the 2017 miniseries Masters of the Sun. However, no artist for their upcoming Werewolf by Night comic was mentioned.

Created by Roy Thomas, Gerry Conway, and Mike Ploog, Werewolf by Night first appeared in 1972, and has since gone on to become one of the most famous monsters of the Marvel Universe. Known as Jack Russell when he’s in human form, the character has crossed paths with many of Marvel’s most famous heroes and villains over the years, having come into conflict with everyone from Deadpool to the Avengers. He will also appear in an upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe project, which will most likely be a film or a Disney+ show.

We don’t yet know if the new book from Taboo and Jackendoff will be a limited or ongoing series or when we can expect to be reading it, but we plan to bring you more details as they come to light.
