PEOPLE UNDER THE STAIRS’ Sean Whalen to Star in Vampire Horror BENEATH US ALL

Sean Whalen has been a minor horror icon since his endearing portrayal of Roach in Wes Craven’s cult classic The People Under the Stairs (released in 1991). The actor is experiencing something of a renaissance in recent years, popping up in a number of high profile indies including Rob Zombie’s 3 From Hell (2019). Now, we’re getting word that Whalen will feature prominently in the upcoming vampire horror movie, Beneath Us All.
Deadline got the exclusive.
“Pic follows Julie, played by Angelina Danielle Cama, a foster child heading for her 18th birthday. She finds an item buried in the woods with something unspeakable inside. Whalen plays Todd, Julie’s step father, who struggles with his gambling issues.”
Beneath Us All will be directed by Harley Wallen (Abstruse) from a screenplay written by Brett Miller (Ash And Bone).
