Dario & Asia Argento Reteaming for New Giallo BLACK GLASSES

Deep Red and Suspiria director Dario Argento is headed back to the screen with an all-new Giallo called Black Glasses in 2020. And better yet? The movie will reunite him with his daughter The Stendhal Syndrome and The Phantom of the Opera actress Asia Argento.

Little Argento confirmed the news over on Instagram (see below)while Papa Argento tells Spettacolo that the relationship with his daughter on the set hasn’t changed:

Nothing has changed: she’s always my daughter anyway, Asia remains Asia in any case. After all, she started acting with me and today she is happy to be able to work with me again, she is really happy. I am also very happy to work with her, also because there is a very strong understanding between us: she always manages to understand perfectly what I need, to understand me. This is why I can say that absolutely nothing has changed from this point of view.”

The last time to two joined forces was back in 2012 with Argento’s Dracula 3D costarring Thomas Kretschmann, Marta Gastini, and Rutger Hauer. That film centered on Count Dracula wanting to sink his fangs into Mina Harker, who resembles the vampire’s late wife.

You know, the usual Dracula plot.
