Rob Zombie Revisits The Firefly House

Writer-director Rob Zombie recently shared his thoughts on his classic first film House of 1000 Corpses, calling the mini-masterpiece a calamitous mess. And today we have word from Zombie himself over on Instagram that the director decided to spend his Friday the 13th revisiting the Firefly house from House of 1000 Corpses on the Universal backlot.

Check out his post below.

The film begins when an empty fuel tank and a flat tire lead two couples down a terror-riddled road to the House of 1000 Corpses. House of 1000 Corpses is at its core a story of family – a cast of twisted individuals who, with each slash of a throat or stab through the chest, add bodies to their sick human menagerie.

It stars Sid Haig as Captain Spaulding, Bill Moseley as Otis, Sheri Moon Zombie as Baby, Karen Black as Mother Firefly, Chris Hardwick as Jerry Goldsmith, Erin Daniels as Denise Willis, Jennifer Jostyn as Mary Knowles, Rainn Wilson as Bill Hudley, Walton Goggins as Steve Naish, Tom Towles as Deputy George Wydell, Matthew McGrory as Tiny, Robert Allen Mukes as Rufus, Dennis Fimple as Grandpa Hugo, Harrison Young as Don Willis, William Bassett as Sheriff Frank Huston, Irwin Keyes as Ravelli, Michael J. Pollard as Stucky, Chad Bannon and David Reynolds as Killer Karl and Richard Wick, and Walter Phelan as Dr. Satan.

House of 1000 Corpses was written and directed by Rob Zombie and produced by Andy Gould. Lionsgate Films released it back on April 11, 2003. BUY HOUSE OF 1000 CORPSES HERE
