‘Phenomenal’ NEW MUTANTS Trailer Hits in January

The Stand director Josh Boone’s X-Men horror movie The New Mutants with Anya Taylor-Joy, Maisie Williams, Charlie Heaton, and Alice Braga has been delayed for, like, forever now.
Stranger Things actor Charlie Heaton recently said the movie will finally be unleashed next year. And today we have word that a killer new trailer will be unleashed in January.

And if that wasn’t enough, we’re hearing from The New Mutants illustrator Bill Sienkiewicz that the new trailer is “phenomenal.” Specifically, he tells the Fatman Beyond podcast:
“… two days ago, I heard from Josh Boone, the director. And he sent me a new trailer. They’ve been working on it, and it is phenomenal. I got chills. It looks like, because of the whole Disney-Fox merger, takeover, whatever … it’s got the blessings of Marvel. And it feels more Marvel in terms of what they’re doing, but also the horror elements of the film are in place.”

New Mutants is directed by Josh Boone and produced by Simon Kinberg, Karen Rosenfelt, and Lauren Shuler Donner from a script by Boone and Knate Lee based on the comic by Chris Claremont and Bob McLeod. It centers on five young mutants, just discovering their abilities while held in a facility against their will, who must fight to escape their sins and save themselves.
It stars Anya Taylor-Joy as Illyana Rasputin / Magik, Maisie Williams as Rahne Sinclair / Wolfsbane, Charlie Heaton as Sam Guthrie / Cannonball, Henry Zaga as Roberto da Costa / Sunspot, Blu Hunt as Danielle Moonstar / Mirage, Alice Braga as Cecilia Reyes, and (maybe) Jon Hamm.
