B.J. Novak To Write & direct Blumhouse Thriller VENGEANCE
The Office and Inglorious Bastards star B.J. Novak will write and direct a new Blumhouse thriller called Vengeance. While specific plot details are unknown at this time, Discussing Film reports that the film is currently planning to begin shooting in February.
Locations are being scouted in New Mexico. Jason Blum will produce.
That’s all we know at the moment, but we will make sure to stay on top of this new Blumhouse thriller as it develops and pass along updates as we hear them.
Now I don’t know what you think of Novak but as a rabid fan of The Office, his character Ryan has always kinda rubbed me the wrong way. I mean I still enjoy parts of the man’s work on the series, but overall, I feel the show never quite figured out what to do with Novak’s character. Which is strange considering the guy was a lead writer on the show for much of its run.
All that said, I remember being really excited when Novak was a big part of the finale of Pulp Fiction and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood writer-director Quentin Tarantino’s Inglourious Bastards. So I guess this means, while I’m not a fan of Novak’s character Ryan from The Office, I’m a fan of Novak himself. Bring on this new Blumhouse thriller, I say!
