Scream Factory Reveals APRIL FOOL’S DAY Collectors Edition Details

Scream Factory will be releasing director Fred Walton’s classic semi-slasher April Fool’s Day starring Deborah Foreman, Amy Steel, and Thomas F. Wilson onto Blu-ray in March 2020.
This is being presented as a Collector’s Edition and comes guaranteed with a slipcover for the first three months. The newly-commissioned “doll-ed” up artwork comes from Yannick Bouchard.
This art will be front-facing and the reverse side of the wrap will feature the classic original theatrical artwork. Check out the killer cover art below.
New extras are in the works and will be announced on a later date but Scream Factory confirms several cast and crew already on board and they plan to load it up as much as possible.
April Fool’s Day begins when a group of college students decides to spend spring break at the secluded island estate of their wealthy classmate, Muffy St. John, what starts out as a fun, hedonistic weekend turns into something more sinister. Muffy is very fond of practical jokes and sets up numerous gags throughout her mansion. But, when friends begin going missing and turn up dead, they realize that they’re trapped on the isolated isle with a mysterious and brutal killer.
Directed by Fred Walton (When a Stranger Calls) from a screenplay written by Danilo Bach April Fool’s Day was produced by Frank Mancuso, Jr. and stars Deborah Foreman (Valley Girl), Amy Steel (Friday the 13th Part 2), and Thomas F. Wilson (Back to the Future), Deborah Goodrich joins them along with Ken Olandt, Griffin O’Neal, Leah King Pinsent, and Clayton Rohner.
