Even LeBron James Loved DOCTOR SLEEP

The Haunting of Hill House and Gerald’s Game director Mike Flanagan’s adaptation of Stephen King’s The Shining sequel, Doctor Sleep opened in theaters this past Friday.

And today we’ve learned that even LeBron James loved the flick, tweeting: “Just left movie theater seeing “Doctor Sleep” with wife and man we both agreed how good it was!!! Love the correlation and references back to the Original “The Shining”. Job well done! Oh, Kyliegh Curran, you’re AMAZING!!!! We Love you.”

Check out Mike Flanagan’s reaction to James’ tweet below.

This isn’t actually much of a surprise to most of us fright fans as we all know good and well that James is really just a big old horror nerd – just like the rest of us! Albeit with millions of dollars and prodigious skills. But really, who’s counting?

The sequel centers on an adult Danny Torrance who is struggling with alcoholism and remains traumatized by the sinister events that occurred at the Overlook Hotel when he was a child.

His hope for a peaceful existence soon becomes shattered when he meets Abra, a teen who shares his extrasensory gift of the “shine.” Together, they form an unlikely alliance to battle the True Knot, a cult whose members try to feed off the shine of innocents to become immortal.

It is now playing at a theater near you.
