DREAM WARRIORS Cinematographer Remakes ELM STREET 3 Scene with iPhone 11

Like many of you guys out there, one of my favorite fright flicks is director Chuck Russell’s A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors starring Heather Langenkamp, Patricia Arquette, and Robert Englund as Freddy Krueger. And today we have a set of videos via Video Villiage Pro over on YouTube that highlight original Director of Photography Roy H. Wagner re-creating a scene from Dream Warriors on the iPhone 11 Pro!

You can go ahead and check out the re-creation video below along with a slick behind the scenes look at the experiment as well. And after looking through that, let us know what you think in the comments below or on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram

For those who need a reminder, A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors kicked off during a hallucinatory incident, when young Kristen Parker (Patricia Arquette) has her wrists slashed by dream-stalking monster Freddy Krueger (Robert Englund). Her mother, mistaking the wounds for a suicide attempt, sends Kristen to a psychiatric ward, where she joins a group of similarly troubled teens. One of the doctors there is Nancy Thompson (Heather Langenkamp), who had battled Freddy some years before. Nancy senses a potential in Kristen to rid the world of Freddy once and for all.

Chuck Russell (The Blob) directed the film from a screenplay he co-wrote along with Wes Craven, Bruce Wagner, and Frank Darabont, based on characters created by Craven. A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors was produced by Robert Shaye and starred Heather Langenkamp, Patricia Arquette, Larry Fishburne, Priscilla Pointer, Craig Wasson, and Robert Englund as Freddy Krueger. New Line Cinema unleashed it into theaters back on February 27, 1987.
