Double Dose of DREAD This November: New Trailer for RED LETTER DAY + Artwork Revealed for THE FARE

We’ve got a lot of new films in the works at DREAD (the horror distribution arm of our parent company, Epic Pictures); some we can’t reveal just yet while others are on the verge of being released. We thought we’d give you a double dose of DREAD this Friday with a look at a couple of upcoming titles: Red Letter Day and The Fare!

First, check out the latest trailer for Red Letter Day embedded at the top of the article. The film is the feature directorial debut from Cameron Macgowan, who’s previous work has won awards and garnered critical acclaim at international film festivals across the world including SXSW, Fantasia, and the Toronto International Film Festival.

Synopsis:
While adjusting to a new life in a quiet suburban community, a recently divorced mother (Dawn Van de Schoot), and her two teens receive mysterious red letters instructing them each to kill or be killed. As the bloodshed begins, they find themselves in a race against time to protect the ones they love from the people they thought they knew.

Look for Red Letter Day in select theaters beginning November 1st with a Blu-ray/VOD release following on November 5th.

Next, check out the stunning poster and Blu-ray cover art for The Fare, a mystery sci-fi thriller arriving on Blu-ray and VOD November 19th. The Fare, directed by D.C. Hamilton, has screened internationally and taken home numerous awards including the Special Mention Jury Award at Fantasporto, Best Dark Fantasy/Supernatural Film at the Miami International Science Fiction Film Festival, and the Director’s Prize for Overall Concept and Execution at FilmQuest.

Synopsis:
When a charming woman named Penny (Brinna Kelly) climbs into his taxi, Harris (Gino Anthony Pesi) finds himself entranced. That is, right up until she disappears from the back seat without a trace. As he desperately tries to make sense of what happened, he resets his meter and is instantly brought back to the moment she first climbed into his cab. He and Penny find themselves trapped in an endlessly looping ride that changes their lives forever.
