JOKER Director Hates Extended Cuts & Deleted Scenes

Don’t expect an extended Director’s Cut of Joker or deleted scenes on the eventual Blu-ray/DVD release, because Todd Phillips detests them. He didn’t mince words in a recent interview with our friends at Collider:

“I hate fucking extended cuts. I hate deleted scenes… They’re deleted for a reason. The movie that exists is exactly the movie I want it to be and I will never show a deleted scene.”
