If you follow indie horror news or attend genre film festivals, you’ve no doubt heard the buzz surrounding Daniel Isn’t Real, a psychological shocker directed by Adam Egypt Mortimer from a screenplay penned by Brian DeLeeuw (who also wrote the novel the film is based on). Now, in advance of the movie’s theatrical and VOD release on December 6th, we have a new trailer to share! Give it a spin at the top of the article!
Synopsis:
Troubled college freshman Luke suffers a violent family trauma and resurrects his childhood imaginary friend Daniel to help him cope. Charismatic and full of manic energy, Daniel helps Luke to achieve his dreams, before pushing him to the very edge of sanity and into a desperate struggle for control of his mind — and his soul.
Daniel Isn’t Real stars Patrick Schwarzenegger, Miles Robbins, Sasha Lane, Hannah Marks, and Mary Stuart Masterson.
