As Season 1 of Casualty Friday concludes today with Episode 8, we get a particularly interesting conversation among the ‘traumatic trio’ of Kane Hodder, Felissa Rose & Tiffany Shepis. The three discuss their take on the current state of horror and overall, these industry legends couldn’t be more excited about it! Considering how much they’ve seen the genre transform over the years, it’s heartwarming to hear all three agree that horror has never been smarter or taken more seriously than it is today. Evidenced by big budget mainstream horror blockbusters like IT, The Shape of Water, Bird Box, Us, and A Quiet Place, the genre is getting significantly more attention, intelligent approaches and healthier budgets and the OGs fully embrace it.
