Warm Up for Sept 18th Dread Screening with This Exclusive Clip from Blumhouse’s BLOODLINE

As prep for next week’s free NYC screening, Dread Central snared an exclusive clip from the giallo-style thriller Bloodline. As you will see, high school counselor Evan (Seann William Scott of American Pie) takes his concern for his patients/students (like Larsen Thompson in the scene) a little too far!

You can see this Blumhouse Production at our free screening in New York City this Wednesday, September 18 at Brooklyn’s Alamo Drafthouse Cinema (445 Albee Square West; 718-513-2547). Doors open at 7 pm. Dread’s Bloodline screening will be a free show; to obtain tickets, follow the link below. Offer is good for you and your guests (the more the merrier!). Seating is not guaranteed, so arrive early.

Bloodline follows a therapist who values family above all else. So much so that anyone who gets between him, his wife and newborn son winds up at the wrong end of a very sharp kitchen knife. But in this stylish serial-killer flick, when it comes to violent tendencies, it seems the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.

As a special bonus at the Bloodline screening, Dread Central will present the East Coast premiere of the NYC-lensed short film Mesmeralda, written and directed by Joshua Matteo. See previous news story, HERE.

This exclusive event is presented by our friends at Momentum Pictures, who are releasing Bloodline in theaters, digital and VOD on September 20. You can check out the film’s social tags here: Twitter—@momentum_pics; Instagram—@momentum_pics, and follow them on Facebook, HERE.

And for our LA peeps, stop by on Thursday for an exclusive interview with the filmmakers behind The Black String, which Dread Central is screening in LA on September 19 (details HERE).

Lotsa free movies, just for you!
