From the Press Release
Raven Banner has acquired international rights to two of the hottest genre films from 2011, MONSTER BRAWL and EXIT HUMANITY.
Winner of an Audience Award at the Fantasia Film Festival, Monster Brawl brings the over-the-top premise of classic monsters (Frankenstein, Werewolf, Cyclops, The Mummy and more) in a winner-take-all wrestling tournament set inside an abandoned and cursed graveyard.
Written and directed by Jesse T. Cook, the film stars Dave Foley, Robert Maillet (Sherlock Holmes), Art Hindle (The Brood), wrestling stars Kevin Nash, Jimmy Hart, UFC’s Herb Dean and Lance Henriksen (Aliens) as the Narrator.
Set in post-Civil War America using a unique blend of live action and classical animation, John Geddes’ EXIT HUMANITY tells the story of a man’s horrific journey through an unexplainable outbreak of the walking dead to lay to rest the most important thing in his life, his son’s ashes.
The film stars horror icons Bill Moseley (The Devil’s Rejects, House of 1000 Corpses), Dee Wallace (E.T., Cujo), and Stephen McHattie (Watchmen, 300), introducing new horror hero Mark Gibson, and is narrated by Brian Cox (Braveheart, The Bourne Identity).
Raven Banner’s Managing Partner Michael Paszt and James Fler negotiated the deal with producers Geddes, Cook and Matt Wiele of Foresight Features.
