You may remember this feature from Dread Central’s past, and now it’s back from the dead. My name is Alex DiVincenzo, and I am proud to be your host with the most. NEWS
Converge have entered Godcity studio to record their new album, tentative titled All We Love We Leave Behind. Expect it later this year on Epitaph Records.
Byzantine have reunited and are writing a new album to be released later this year. You can learn how to donate to help fund the project here.
Comeback Kid have parted ways with guitarist Casey Hjelmberg, who has been with the group since 2006. Friend of the band Stu Ross will be filling in. Read the band’s statement here.
Bryon Stroud (Fear Factory, ex-Strapping Young Lad) has joined 3 Inches of Blood on bass.
Deathwish Inc. has signed Code Orange Kids. The band will hit the studio soon to record their debut full-length.
Lower Than Atlantis have signed to Island Records.
Hulk Hogan has revealed that he nearly played bass for Metallica and Rolling Stones.
RELEASES
Halestorm will release The Strange Case Of… on April 10 via Atlantic Records.
Tesseract will release an acoustic EP, tentatively titled Perspective, in the spring. It will feature three acoustic renditions of songs from the band’s latest effort, One, as well as a cover.
Mychildren Mybride will release their self-titled album on March 13 via Solid State Records.
Garbage will release Not Your Kind Of People, their first album since 2005, on May 15 via their own Stunvolume.
Cancer Bats have signed to Metal Blade Records and will release a new album entitled Dead Set On Living on April 24.
7 Horns 7 Eyes will release their debut full-length, Throes of Absolution, on April 24 via Century Media Records. Watch a teaser for the album here.
Jeff Loomis (ex-Nevermore) will release a new album entitled Plains of Oblivion on April 10 via Century Media Records.
