It’s been almost a year since I experienced the meta-horror insanity of One Cut of the Dead at Fantastic Fest 2018. The zombie-comedy made my list of the Top 10 genre films screened at the event. Now, those who missed it on the film on the festival circuit will finally have an opportunity to see what all the fuss is about!

Today brings word that One Cut of the Dead will arrive in select theaters in Los Angeles and New York beginning September 13th; a wider release will commence on September 17th. You can find participating theaters and score tickets, HERE.

Synopsis:
Things go badly for a hack director and film crew shooting a low budget zombie film in an abandoned WWII Japanese facility when they are attacked by real zombies.
One Cut of the Dead is written and directed by Shin’ichirô Ueda and stars Takayuki Hamatsu, Yuzuki Akiyama, and Harumi Shuhama.
