Here’s Every House And Scare Zone At Universal Orlando’s HALLOWEEN HORROR NIGHTS

The Halloween season excites people for a multitude of reasons. For some, it’s the chance to dress up and go trick-or-treating with your friends/family. For others, this is when you cram in a ton of horror movies. And for others still, the Halloween season is all about experiences. Local haunted hayrides that end with a cup of hot cider and a warm donut. Horror-themed escape rooms. Costume parties. Creepy bar crawls. Whatever your poison, embrace it and live your spooky life to the fullest.

For me, something that always excites is Universal Orlando and their Halloween Horror Nights. A yearly event that sees the theme park convert into a playground for all things macabre and sinister, Halloween Horror Nights feels like the imagination of some of the most creative horror-minded people spilled out across the park. It’s a smorgasbord of terror at its most exhilarating.

This year, Universal Orlando is bringing the goods with their incredible list of Haunted Houses and Scare Zones that will take over the park once the sun sets. Below, we’re highlighting everything you can experience should you find yourself at the park’s gates.

Haunted Houses

Stranger Things

Based on the hit Netflix Original series, this house will focus on seasons 2 and 3 and will take you through some of the memorable locations within Hawkins, Indiana. Demodogs, Sheriff Hopper’s cabin, the Starcourt Mall, and more all await those who wish to venture into the Upside Down!

Jordan Peele’s Us

After you’ve escaped the Upside Down from Stranger Things, get ready to take on The Tethered as you go through locations featured in Jordan Peele’s fantastic film Us. From the Wilson family beach house to the Santa Cruz pier to the mazelike tunnels underneath America, this Haunted House will take you through it all!

Universal Monsters

Are you ready to come face-to-face with cinema’s greatest monsters? Dracula, The Wolfman, The Creature From the Black Lagoon, The Mummy, and Frankenstein’s Monster all await you in the halls of this Haunted House. Each creature has their own thematic space, so be ready to go on an epic journey!

Ghostbusters

Who ya gonna call?

Time travel back to 1984 and walk through some of the most iconic set pieces from Ivan Reitman’s classic horror/comedy, all while watching the ghost bustin’ quartet do their thing! If this house isn’t blasting Ray Parker Jr. nonstop, what even are they doing?

Killer Klowns From Outer Space

Last year, the extraterrestrial Klowns were a scare zone and this year sees them upgraded to having their very own haunted house! Showcasing new characters amidst recognizable locations, get ready for every sense to be assaulted as the smell of cotton candy fills the air while screams echo through the alien hallways!

House of 1,000 Corpses

The latest, and last, Haunted House to be added to the list! Attendees will walk through Captain Spaulding’s Museum of Monsters and Madmen before facing off against the Firefly Clan and their house of torture and carnage! And who knows? You might even run into Dr. Satan while you’re there!

Depths of Fear

An all-original Haunted House, this one takes you into the depths of a deep-sea mining expedition that has gone horribly wrong. While the facility cracks under the pressure of the water around it, creatures beset you from all sides, making your escape nigh-well impossible.

Graveyard Games

A night of teenage mischief awakens a cemetery and their spirits are intent on holding anyone they see responsible for disturbing their slumber. Walk through tombstones, mausoleums, and dug-up graves as ghosts haunt your every step!

Nightingales: Blood Pit

Ancient Roman gladiatorial games have taken on a more monstrous face as creatures are now the sport of choice! Fight alongside gladiators or die like the coward you are!

Yeti: Terror of the Yukon

Last year, the original Haunted House Slaughter Sinema featured a B-movie segment called “Attack of the Swamp Yeti”. This year, they’ve ventured out of the bogs and into the snowdrifts to square off against a folklore terror that is as dangerous as it is ancient!

Scare Zones

Zombieland: Double Tap

Zombies galore! Rules aplenty! Twinkies? That remains to be seen! See how long you can last on the streets of Universal Orlando while zombies nip at your heels!

Rob Zombie’s Hellbilly Deluxe

Horror and metal crash together in this scare zone inspired by Zombie’s 1998 album. Not just content with cranking the distortion to 11, monsters that could only come from the mind of Zombie will dig through the ditches and burn through the witches! Think you can make it to your Dragula?

Anarch-cade

Embrace the 80s as you play for your life in this arcade-inspired scare zone! Neon-bathed slashers will take on the role of Player 2. Just don’t get a “Game Over”…or else!

Vanity Ball

How committed are you to becoming a work of art? These monstrous surgeons will be more than happy to slice and dice you into a piece fit for a museum…or a morgue. Whichever comes first.

Vikings Undead

Not content with the amount of pillaging and marauding they did whilst alive, these Vikings are back from the dead to continue their deadly crusade! Do you have what it takes to face them and make it through alive?

Halloween Marathon of Mayhem

This one is so new that I just got the email about it. So, rather than try and explain it – especially since I’ve never seen it – I’ll let Universal do the talking!

Giant water screens highlighting iconic horror scenes, accented with more than 100 fountains, awesome special effects, pounding electro music, lasers and more will bring this all-new experience to life – creating a larger-than-life mix tape that guests won’t want to miss. Guests will witness a twisted new take on Netflix’s Stranger Things, Sony Pictures’ Ghostbusters, Universal Monsters and Metro Goldwyn Mayer’s Killer Klowns from Outer Space as they invade the Universal Studios lagoon for “Halloween Marathon of Mayhem,” running on event nights at the world’s premier Halloween event.
