On October 18, Robert Eggers will see the release of his follow-up to 2015’s period horror film The Witch, The Lighthouse. Hailed out of its world premiere at Cannes, the film follows two lighthouse keepers in New England and the toll that isolation, forced companionship, and nature take on them over the course of time. What feels like weeks might be days and days end up feeling like weeks to these two men. And as secrets are revealed, tensions mount.
