R-Rated IT: CHAPTER TWO Will Include “Crude Sexual Material”

While I don’t think anyone suspected otherwise, we can now confirm that IT: Chapter Two (arriving in US theaters on September 6th) will be rated R. The MPAA announced today that the sequel to 2017’s IT will include: “Disturbing violent content and bloody images throughout, pervasive language, and some crude sexual material.”

Synopsis:
The evil clown Pennywise returns 27 years later to torment the grown-up members of the Losers’ Club.
Andy Muschietti directs IT: Chapter Two from a screenplay penned by Gary Dauberman. The film stars James McAvoy, Jessica Chastain, Bill Skarsgård, and Javier Botet.
