The long-running popular web series Krueger: Tales from Elm Street came to its conclusion earlier this month (on June 6th, timed to coincide with actor Robert Englund’s birthday). But that doesn’t mean that creator Chris R. Notarile is hanging up his camera. The prolific filmmaker has been neck-deep in a Halloween fan film series dubbed The Myers Trilogy.

Last April, we shared Myers: The Butcher of Haddonfield, the first installment in the trilogy (follow the link below). Today, we’re pleased to share Part 2: Myers: The Evil of Haddonfield; give it a spin at the top of the article.
Notarile previously told us:
“With my Krueger: Tales from Elm Street series coming to an end on June 6th, I’ve decided to turn my attention to the horror icon that got me into making movies: Michael Myers. Yes, I’ve made multiple Halloween fan films over the years, but with the recent edition of the new 2018 alt-sequel, I figured it was time to venture into the uncharted 40-year gap between John Carpenter’s 1978 classic and this new installment, with my new web series: Myers. Part one, The Butcher of Haddonfield, picks up in 1978 after Michael has been shot. He literally gets up and wanders off. The short is intercut with flashback scenes of Smith’s Grove’s board deciding over whether or not to transfer Michael to a step down locked facility after 15 years of being a model patient. I think we can all guess what they decided on. Part two, The Evil of Haddonfield, brings back Dr. Loomis in full glory. The short opens up with him searching for Michael on the streets of Haddonfield, linking up with a young officer Hawkins, and eventually tracking down the masked maniac before it’s too late.”

Dr. Loomis is played by veteran actor Joseph Callari, who not only bears a striking resemblance to Donald Pleasence but was able to recapture the passion and sadness of the character. Michael Myers is played by Chris Callaway. Officer Hawkins is played by Aaron Matis.
