Those of us who grew up watching The Simpsons will always remember the thrill of tuning in to a Treehouse of Horror episode around the Halloween season. And while the show obviously isn’t what it used to be, Funko has announced a new line of Treehouse of Horror-themed Pops, to help us remember the good old days before The Simpsons became just another average sitcom.
These Pops depict members of the Simpsons family transformed into monsters, as shown in some of the most famous Treehouse of Horror episodes. The set includes Homer as King Kong, a panther version of Marge, Maggie as the alien daughter of Kang, and Lisa with demon wings. Our personal favorite has got to be Bart with a fly’s head, which comes from a segment in Treehouse of Horror VIII which was clearly a parody of the 1958 horror classic The Fly.
Funko has not confirmed exactly when the figures will be available, but we’re betting they’ll hit stores around Halloween. So if you’re a fan of the show or just a general collector of horror merchandise, these unique Pops belong on you shelf. We’re also hoping that Funko will release more Treehouse of Horror-themed products if they prove to be successful.
