It’s been almost six months since the primary cast of voice actors was announced for Netflix’s prequel series, The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance, and over a month since we got a concrete release date: August 30th, 2019. Today, however, brings news that the cast has expanded even further, with Sigourney Weaver, Lena Headley, and others joining the project.
Deadline broke the news:
Lena Headey (Game of Thrones), Benedict Wong (Avengers: Endgame), Awkwafina (Crazy Rich Asians), Sigourney Weaver, Hannah John-Kamen (Ant-Man and The Wasp), and Dave Goelz (The Dark Crystal) have joined the voice cast for The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance, a prequel series to the Jim Henson Company’s groundbreaking 1982 feature.
