With Chucky slaying the box office in Orion’s Child’s Play and Annabelle Comes Home set to haunt theaters nationwide beginning this Wednesday (June 26th) perhaps there wasn’t room for another haunted doll this Summer. Whatever the case, we’re getting word that the release date for Brahms: The Boy II has been pushed back signifigantly.
Originally slated to arrive on July 26th, The Boy II will now hit US theaters on December 6th.
After a family moves into the Heelshire Mansion, their young son soon makes friends with a life-like doll called Brahms.
Brahms: The Boy II reunites original Boy director and writer, William Brent Bell and Stacey Menear respectively; in addition to Holmes, the film stars Ralph Ineson, Owain Yeoman, and Christopher Convery.
