Bianca Lawson joining Teen Wolf on MTVOver the last couple of days some casting news slipped in under the radar for the second season of MTV’s “Teen Wolf”. Three more folks have joined the previously announced Michael Hogan, Stephen Lunsford, and Daniel Sharman, and we have it all right here in one convenient location.

First up is Bianca Lawson (pictured right), whom many fans know as witch Emily Bennett on “The Vampire Diaries”. She will recur on “Teen Wolf” for at least four episodes as Ms. Morrell, Beacon Hills high school’s guidance counselor who becomes an ally to several characters,

No stranger to high school TV dramas, Lawson has appeared in “Dawson’s Creek”, “Buffy the Vampire Slayer”, and “Saved by the Bell: The New Class”. Recently Lawson has popped up on “American Horror Story” and “Nikita”, and she has a seven-episode arc coming up on “The Secret Circle”.

Other new faces for Season Two include Gage Golightly (aka Tessa, the bully at Juliet’s public school in “Ringer”), who will play a tough girl who transforms from ugly duckling to swan, catching the interest of all the boys and wolves, and Sinqua Walls (“Friday Night Lights”, Shark Night 3D) as Boyd, a shy loner who’s hiding a secret.

Tyler Posey, Crystal Reed, Dylan O’Brien, Tyler Hoechlin, Holland Roden, and Colton Haynes are all back to reprise their roles of Scott, Allison, Stiles (our personal favorite), Derek, Lydia, and Jackson. “Teen Wolf” was developed by Jeff Davis (creator, “Criminal Minds”) who also serves as executive producer. Additional executive producers include Marty Adelstein (“Prison Break”), RenĂ© Echevarria (“Medium,” “Castle”), Tony DiSanto, and Liz Gateley. Russell Mulcahy (Highlander, Resident Evil: Extinction) is co-executive producer. Justin Levy and Julie Schwachenwald are the MTV executives in charge of production. The series is a co-production with MGM, in association with Lost Marbles Productions, Inc.; First Cause, Inc.; and DiGa.

Look for Season Two of this reinvention of the classic werewolf tale to begin airing on MTV in the summer of 2012.
