Exclusive: Evan Dickson Comments On YOUR FILTHY HEART Adaptation

Yesterday, BD reported that Unique Pictures had teamed up with Evan Dickson to adapt his short film Your Filthy Heart into a feature-length film.
A Nightmare on Elm Street‘s Bob Shaye will produce alongside Vincent Gatewood and William Day Frank while Dickson will direct.
“A mysterious box unleashes a force that causes its victims to be hunted down by their worst regrets.“
Dickson tells Dread Central, “Guilt is a recurrent theme in everyone’s life, regardless of whether or not they’ve done anything wrong. We punish ourselves with it daily and many of us are quite adept at finding inventive new ways to make sure we never emerge from underneath its umbrella. I want to make a horror movie about THAT.”
The short, which was released last year, starred Alex Essoe, Eliza Noland, David Bruckner, Zoe Cooper, Jennifer Kretchmer. You can watch it below.
