C.O.G.S. STEAMPUNK EXPO: A Weekend of Flashbacks with a Future Twist Coming May 17th Thru 19th

Steampunk imagines an alternate reality where technology peaked in the Victorian era, resulting in some truly mind-bending contraptions. The style has permeated literature, film, music, and even fashion. Now, fans of the genre and aesthetic can party with like-minded individuals at the C.O.G.S. Steampunk Expo, coming to Parsippany, New Jersey May 17th through 19th. (C.O.G.S. stands for Community Organised Gathering of Steampunks).
Here’s a bit about what awaits attendees:
Pro and casual cosplayers, sci-fi lovers, tabletop gamers, music fans and families seeking a weekend of affordable entertainment will converge to take in the sights, sounds, and fanfare available in every corner of this blissfully inclusive event.
This year’s festivities offer something for absolutely everyone. Highlights include:

Over 20 Entertainers with dancers, musicians, acrobats, magicians, play actors, singers and storytellers, supported by headlining acts Hvbris Fire Performance Troupe and South East London’s Victor and the Bully

Makers and Professionals like Thomas Willeford, Aleta Pardalis, Doc Stone and Professor Mark Donnelly sharing their expertise across a number of topics including leather work, tea tasting, costume making, and personal defense, among many others!
