The countdown has ended and it has all led to this: The first trailer for IT: Chapter Two has finally dropped and taken us back to Derry, Maine!
While the first film followed the children of the Loser’s Club, It: Chapter Two sees Pennywise the Dancing Clown terrorizing them as adults. With a whole new host of fears with which to torment them, there’s no limit to what terrors we’ll see splashed across the screen.
What makes this trailer so special is that it focuses almost entirely on the scene where Beverly Marsh returns to her childhood home and meets an old lady. While seemingly lovely at first, things quickly become strange and unsettling, eventually leading up to a moment of pure horror. This is a teaser trailer in the purest sense as it teases viewers, tantalizing them with atmosphere and mood, promising a finale that will scar people for years.

Synopsis:

Andy Muschietti directs IT: Chapter Two from a screenplay penned by Gary Dauberman. The film stars James McAvoy, Jessica Chastain, Bill Skarsgård, and Javier Botet. Look for it in US theaters beginning September 6th.
