Listen to Two New TOOL Songs

This past weekend, prog rock/metal titans Tool played at Jacksonville’s Welcome to Rockville music festival. A treat in and of itself (Tool haven’t done too many tours/festival dates over the past decade), the band also debuted two brand new tracks that are supposedly from the long-awaited follow-up to 2006’s 10,000 Days.

Titled “Descending” and “Invincible” (both unofficial fan titles), the two tracks are each lengthy, both clocking in around the 12-minute mark. While both sound like exactly what you’d expect from Tool, it’s still an incredible moment to hear new music from a band that has managed to maintain a dedicated and rather rabid fanbase over its nearly 30-year career.

You can listen to both tracks below.

Upcoming Tool tour dates:
May 7: Birmingham, AL
May 8: Louisville, KY
May 10: Hampton, VA
May 10: Epicenter Festival in Rockingham, NC (with KORN and Foo Fighters)
May 11: Epicenter Festival in Rockingham, NC (with Judas Priest and The Cult)
May 13: St. Louis, MO
May 14: Kansas City, MO
