New England Folk Horror Plants SEEDS

A trailer has been released for the upcoming New England folk horror film Seeds. Although no release date has been given, this teaser gives an unsettling and eerie look as to what the film has to offer.

Grieving mother Macha must track down her husband Andrew, a university professor who has been invited to a remote area of New England to take part in mysterious cult’s ritual in order to receive an inheritance from his uncle. The cult that worships the mystical and ancient power of the apple has also been infiltrated by the Catholic Church under the command of the very ambitious Cardinal Sinibaldi. All the while, the cult has murderous thoughts of its own.

Written and directed by Skip Shea, Seeds stars Emma MacKenzie, Patrick Bracken, and Kip Weeks. It also features Rick Johnston, Aurora Grabill, Nicole Watson, Demetri Kasperson, Bella Medeiros and featuring Barbara Magnolfi (Suspiria, The Sister of Ursula, Disciples).
