New Trailer for THE RANGER Drops in Advance of Its Shudder Debut

I’ve been a huge fan and proponent of The Ranger since I first saw the film at SXSW in 2018. It’s been amazing watching the film’s journey from obscure to hotly-anticipated, and I even had the honor of hosting a Q&A with director Jenn Wexler and producer Heather Buckley when The Ranger passed through San Francisco last Fall.

We were thrilled when The Ranger found a permanent streaming home on Shudder, a must-have service for decerning genre fans with a stable of top-notch content, both classic and original. Now, in advance of the film’s May 9th release, the punk rock survival horror has gotten a new trailer. Give it a whirl at the top of the article.

Synopsis:
Teen punks, on the run from the cops and hiding out in the woods, come up against the local authority – an unhinged park ranger with an ax to grind.

Wexler directed The Ranger for a screenplay she co-wrote with Giaco Furino; the film stars Chloë Levine, Jeremy Holm, and Granit Lahu.
