New Poster Set for DC’s SWAMP THING TV Series Quotes Ernest Hemingway

When he spoke these words, the iconic master of American literature was in the throes of severe depression, having seen first hand many of the atrocities of war. Still, his spirit remained optimistic. It’s profound, actually.

Synopsis:
Swamp Thing centers on CDC researcher Abby Arcane. When she returns to her childhood home of Houma, Louisiana, in order to investigate a deadly swamp-borne virus, she develops a surprising bond with scientist Alec Holland — only to have him tragically taken from her. But as powerful forces descend on Houma, intent on exploiting the swamp’s mysterious properties for their own purposes, Abby will discover that the swamp holds mystical secrets, both horrifying and wondrous — and the potential love of her life may not be dead after all.

The Swamp Thing TV series will be premiering exclusively on DC’s streaming platform beginning May 31st. The titular Swamp Thing is played by Derek Mears who stars with Virginia Madsen, Amber Barnes, Jennifer Beals, and Andy Bean (among others); Len Wiseman directs.
