Simon Pegg & Nick Frost Monster Movie SLAUGHTERHOUSE RULEZ Gets US Theatrical and DVD Release Dates

High school is hard enough without monsters from Hell trying to eat you.
Simon Pegg and Nick Frost are best known for anchoring the “Three Flavours Cornetto” trilogy which is comprised of Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, and The World’s End. Their latest endeavor, a creature feature called Slaughterhouse Rulez was released overseas ages ago but has yet to make its way to US shores. But all that is about to change.
Today brings word that Slaughterhouse Rulez will be getting a theatrical release on May 17th with a DVD following soon after on June 18th. Check out the trailer and synopsis below.
Synopsis:
Welcome to Slaughterhouse, an elite boarding school where boys and girls are groomed for power and greatness…and they’re about to meet their match. This ancient and ordered world is about to be shaken to its foundations – literally – when a controversial frack site on prized school woodland causes seismic tremors, a mysterious sinkhole and an unspeakable horror is unleashed. Soon a new pecking order will be established as pupils, teachers and the school matron become locked in a bloody battle for survival.
Slaughterhouse Rulez is written and directed by Crispian Mills; in addition to Pegg and Frost, the film stars Margot Robbie, Asa Butterfield, and Michael Sheen.
