ALTER is a genre channel on YouTube that aims to deliver two short horror movies a week from the “most provocative minds in horror”. Back on March 2nd, we shared The Daughters of Virtue is an intense religious chiller that writer/director Michael Escobedo says focuses “on a demographic rarely explored within the horror genre: the rural, Midwestern housewife.” You can check it out for yourself by following the link below.

Now, we’re pleased to announce their latest offering: The first episode of a new series called The Outer Darkness, which hits ALTER’s channel today. It’s a collaboration with Bloody Cuts directed by Ben Franklin and Anthony Melton (Crypt TV’s The Birch) and you can give the trailer a spin at the top of the article.
Synopsis:
On Friday evenings in Lynnsmouth
Community Centre, meets a group led by Father Jonathan Crowe. Together they
share their stories – tales of strange occurrences, horrific events and bizarre
encounters that have scarred their lives.
