Chattanooga Film Festival 2019: Exclusive First Wave Announcement Reveals Devilish, Punk, and Metal Festivities!

Next month sees the return of the Chattanooga Film Festival and they’re making one hell (pun intended) of a splash with some of the festivities planned for this year’s attendees! We’re thrilled to bring you the exclusive first wave announcement for the festival, which sees CFF partner up with Dark Docs, a project from Rodney Perkins that explores documentaries with dark subject matter, including, but are not limited to, true crime, unexplained phenomena, politics, conspiracies, meta-narratives, experimentalism, and beyond.

This year’s CFF also includes a live show and a special movie screening by cult legend Crispin Hellion Glover, an opening night benefit show by CFF patron saint Joe Bob Briggs, an appearance from legendary filmmaker Gary Sherman, who will be on hand to present a screening of his exploitation classic Vice Squad and an insanely entertaining talk filled with strange but true tales on the making of Poltergeist III.

And would it really be a CFF without their annual party on the Southern Belle Riverboat? Returning this year are CFF BFFs Jeff the Brotherhood, along with The Medium, to perform.

For the full exclusive first wave films announcement, read on below to see what’s playing!
