First Ever GHOSTBUSTERS Fan Fest Will Reunite Dan Aykroyd and Ernie Hudson

At least two of the original Ghostbusters are getting back together (and no, I’m not talking about cameos in Jason Reitman’s upcoming reboot). Dan Aykroyd and Ernie Hudson (who played Dr. Raymond Stantz and Winston Zeddemore respectively) will reunite at the first ever Ghostbusters Fan Fest. Produced by Wizard World in collaboration with Sony Pictures and Ghost Corps, the festivities will happen in Los Angeles (Culver City to be exact) June 7th thru 8th.

The festival coincides with Ghostbuster’s 35th Anniversary.

Whether or not the only other surviving Ghostbuster, Bill Murray who played Dr. Peter Venkman, will participate remains to be seen. You can see the initial line-up of guests and planed events, and even purchase tickets to attend, at the fest’s official website, HERE.

We’ll keep you posted as pertinent details emerge. Stay tuned!

Synopsis:
After the members of a team of scientists (Harold Ramis, Dan Aykroyd, Bill Murray) lose their cushy positions at a university in New York City, they decide to become “ghostbusters” to wage a high-tech battle with the supernatural for money. They stumble upon a gateway to another dimension, a doorway that will release evil upon the city. The Ghostbusters must now save New York from complete destruction.
