GHOSTBUSTERS 3 To Begin Shooting This Summer?

The internet exploded last month when word came down the pike that a canonical sequel to 1984’s Ghostbusters was in the works with Jason Reitman at the helm and all of the (surviving) original paranormal investigators getting back together. While some people (like me) think Sony may be stretching the truth a bit, it’s certain that we’ll be getting an official Ghostbusters film sometime in 2020.

Whatever the final product turns out to be (a legitimate sequel or a soft reboot), we now know when Reitman and Sony plan on getting behind the cameras. DiscussingFilm is exclusively reporting that production is set to begin on May 13th. We’re still waiting for official confirmation from Sony.
