Jordan Peele’s THE TWILIGHT ZONE Airs Fascinating Ad During Super Bowl

During tonight’s Super Bowl, an ad for Jordan’ Peele’s upcoming CBS series of The Twilight Zone aired and it’s strangely…inspiring? I don’t know but something about the music and the presentation combine into an ad that, at first, starts confusingly (is my TV broken? Is my cable out?) but then moves to a place of wonder rather than fear, of fascination rather than terror. It’s only at the end, when the hint of that signature title theme plays, does a tendril of unease grab hold.

Peele’s The Twilight Zone, which he is hosting and executive producing, will be airing on CBS’s SVOD platform All Access starting April 1. Two episodes will air that Monday followed by weekly episodes on Thursdays.

Actors confirmed and/or rumored to be participating in the new Twilight Zone include: John Cho, Allison Tolman, Jacob Tremblay, DeWanda Wise, Jessica Williams, Rhea Seehorn, Kumail Nanjiani, Steven Yeun, Luke Kirby, Greg Kinnear, Sanaa Lathan, Ike Barinholtz, and Taissa Farmiga.
