Dread Central Presents: Sneak Peek Images From THE GOLEM

We’re only a week and a half away from the release of The Golem, the first film in our Dread Central Presents Original library (so far…). To say that we cannot wait for you to see the folklore-inspired horror we have in store for you is a bit of an understatement! Hailed for being, “…classical in its storytelling,” and reminding Film Freak Central’s Walter Chaw of “…Guillermo Del Toro’s Mimic in this way. I mean that as highest praise,” the film will reintroduce audiences to a creature that has not been seen on the big screen in a century.

Today, we want to share with you a few stills from the film that illustrate the wonderful production value as well as the horror and emotion throughout. You can see them below.

Pre-orders are officially open for both the Blu-ray and DVD as well as iTunes.

During an outbreak of a deadly plague, a young woman, Hanna, must save her tight-knit Jewish community from invaders. Turning to Jewish mysticism, she conjures a dangerous entity to protect her and her people. However, the powerful creature she summons may be far more evil than anything she could have ever imagined.

Starring in the film are Hani Furstenberg (Hanna), Ishai Golan (Benjamin), Lenny Ravich (Horrovits), Brynie Furstenberg (Perla), and Alexey Tritenko (Vladimir). Written by Ariel Cohen, The Golem was produced by Shalom Eisenbach as well as Shaked Berenson and Patrick Ewald of Epic Pictures Group.
