Dread Central Presents: What is THE GOLEM?

With next month’s release of our first Dread Central Presents Original film The Golem looming ever and ever closer, we thought it might be fitting to create a small video that helps explain what exactly the Jewish mythical creature is! So we did just that and you can see the brief but informative lesson up above. And if you want more information, you can read our own Josh Millican’s piece about golem’s right here.

“During an outbreak of a deadly plague, a young woman, Hanna, must save her tight-knit Jewish community from invaders. Turning to Jewish mysticism, she conjures a dangerous entity to protect her and her people. However, the powerful creature she summons may be far more evil than anything she could have ever imagined.“
Starring in the film are Hani Furstenberg (Hanna), Ishai Golan (Benjamin), Lenny Ravich (Horrovits), Brynie Furstenberg (Perla), and Alexey Tritenko (Vladimir). Written by Ariel Cohen, The Golem was produced by Shalom Eisenbach as well as Shaked Berenson and Patrick Ewald of Epic Pictures Group.
The Golem will be released on VOD as well as Blu-ray/DVD and in select theaters on February 5, 2019.
