Despite Year of Tragedy KORN Frontman Jonathan Davis Promises New Album & Tour Soon
Last August, Korn frontman Jonathan Davis lost his wife, Devin Davis, to an overdose after she disappeared from a sober living community. It’s the kind of personal tragedy that could sideline a person, physically and emotionally, in order to heal. But Davis is turning heartbreak into hard rock, releasing a heartfelt message to fans while announcing he’s hard at work recording vocals on a new Korn album.
Check out Davis’s statement (made via Instagram) below:
“I want to thank you all for your kind words over the last couple months what I’m going thru has not been easy by any means. You all helped make the pain bearable. In return I promise to give you my all on this amazing new @korn_official record we all can heal together. #recordingvocals”
In the video above from Rock Feed, they quote guitarist Brian “Head” Welch as saying Korn is hoping to hit the road with a massive tour beginning in January 2020. We’ll keep you posted as details emerge.
