Latest “First Look” from PET SEMATARY Sees John Lithgow Move Towards Dangerous Territory

Those who have read the novel by Stephen King or watched Mary Lambert’s 1989 adaptation who that the titular Pet Sematary isn’t the source of the story’s peril. Beyond the Pet Sematary, over a huge pile of fallen branches, is an ancient Indian burial ground, one abandoned after the ground went sour. In the latest “First Look” at Pet Sematary (via Fandango) we see Jud Crandall (played by John Lithgow) atop the pile of branches, moving into dangerous territory!

Synopsis:
Louis Creed, his wife Rachel and their two children Gage and Ellie move to a rural home where they are welcomed and enlightened about the eerie ‘Pet Sematary’ located near their home. After the tragedy of their cat being killed by a truck, Louis resorts to burying it in the mysterious pet cemetery, which is definitely not as it seems, as it proves to the Creeds that sometimes, dead is better.

Pet Sematary is slated to haunt US theaters beginning April 5th; in addition to Lithgow, the film stars Jason Clarke and Amy Seimetz.
