The second trailer for Michael Dougherty’s Godzilla: King of the Monsters (smashing into US theaters beginning May 31st)reveals much more of the key plot points than its predecessor. We learn that mankind is attempting to harness Godzilla’s mighty power in order to save ourselves from the wrath of even mightier “Titans”, specifically
But while we know Godzilla will participate in an epic throwdown with Ghidorah, his relationships with Mothra and Rodan (who will also appear in King of the Monsters) isn’t so clear. Are these lesser flying menaces also thorns in Godzilla’s side, or will they also be “recruited” by humans to wage the good fight?
